El proyecto MASAR AL AMAL (del árabe “camino de esperanza”) nace como un laboratorio de guion destinado a la tutorización de guionistas en la creación de cortometrajes y largometrajes de ficción y documental, impulsando la producción audiovisual en el mundo árabe. Esta iniciativa se enmarca dentro de las acciones de cooperación de la AECID a través del Programa MASAR Ahora y de la Fundación Araguaney con el Festival de Cine Euroárabe Amal, consolidando así un espacio de desarrollo para el talento audiovisual.

Para avanzar en su formulación, la Fundación Araguaney y la AECID organizan un Taller de Formulación, reuniendo a expertos del sector audiovisual gallego y de la cooperación internacional con experiencia en el mundo árabe. En este espacio de trabajo, los especialistas compartirán su conocimiento para definir las bases del proyecto y garantizar su implementación efectiva, asegurando que responda a las necesidades reales del sector.

Este taller tiene como objetivos clave identificar las necesidades del sector audiovisual en los países de origen de los participantes, mapear los actores e instituciones relevantes en el mundo árabe y evaluar la posible implicación de otras entidades españolas especializadas. A través de este proceso, MASAR AL AMAL busca fortalecer el intercambio cultural y la cooperación internacional, fomentando la creación de nuevas oportunidades en la industria audiovisual.

The MASAR AL AMAL project (from the Arabic ‘path of hope’) was created as a scriptwriting laboratory aimed at tutoring scriptwriters in the creation of short and feature-length fiction and documentary films, promoting audiovisual production in the Arab world. This initiative is part of the cooperation actions of the AECID through the MASAR Ahora Programme and the Araguaney Foundation with the Amal Euro-Arab Film Festival, thus consolidating a space for the development of audiovisual talent.

In order to advance in its formulation, the Araguaney Foundation and the AECID are organising a Formulation Workshop, bringing together experts from the Galician audiovisual sector and international cooperation with experience in the Arab world. In this working space, the specialists will share their knowledge to define the bases of the project and guarantee its effective implementation, ensuring that it responds to the real needs of the sector.

The key objectives of this workshop are to identify the needs of the audiovisual sector in the participants' countries of origin, to map the relevant actors and institutions in the Arab world and to evaluate the possible involvement of other specialised Spanish entities. Through this process, MASAR AL AMAL seeks to strengthen cultural exchange and international cooperation, fostering the creation of new opportunities in the audiovisual industry.
